What is Fleece?
The coat is a man-made wonder product if there's such a thing. Despite being named after the ‘ coat ’ fleece on a lamb, it’s 100 synthetics and deduced from plastic rather than an ethereal lamb’s fleece – despite being fuzzy to the touch. The super-soft, warm and permeable nature of this magic material makes it perfect for outerwear and all effects cosy.
What is Fleece Made From?
Generally, this fabric is created from polyester( which comes from plastic). The fibres of polyester are woven into a light fabric which is brushed to help the fibres increase in volume. sometimes other natural fibres are incorporated into the coat similar to hair, hemp or rayon to produce a certain texture or sprightliness of the fabric. It can also be made from recycled plastics similar to plastic water bottles, giving it an eco-friendly edge whilst being affordable.
